Ron's Org (Ron's Organisation and Network for Standard Technology) was founded in October 1984 by Bill Robertson in Frankfurt, Germany. It explicitly differentiates itself from the official and unofficial organizations of the Church of Scientology. The goal of Ron's Org is to apply the philosophy and technology of L. Ron Hubbard and in its original sense, as Hubbard intended it – and in the form that we came to know it: a consistently and uniformly workable method to help the individual to improve the conditions of his life and experience more freedom.
Ron's Org consists in part of people who earlier have been members of the Church of Scientology but have been thrown out because they adhered to the original philosophy of L. Ron Hubbard, or left on their own volition when they saw that LRH's philosophy was no longer being used in a constructive way. The others are people who have learned about LRH's philosophy in Ron's Org for the first time, authentically and without pressure.

Some Basic Definitions:

What is an Auditor? An auditor is one who listens. Auditor means listener.
What is a Preclear? One who is discovering things about himself and who is becoming clearer.
What is case gain? Any case betterment according to the pc.
What is Scientology? The common people's science of life and betterment.
How is Scientology different? In Scientology the preclear is always right. Scientology holds that people know best about themselves.
What is Scientology against? Scientology is against brutality and euthanasia in medical brain damaging, and against abuse and slavery and punishment in any form.
What does Scientology stand for? Freedom from mystery. Freedom from fear.
What is a Book Auditor? Someone who has studied books on Scientology and listens to other people to make them better.
What is a Co-Audit? A team of any two people who are helping each other reach a better life with Scientology processing.
What is an Auditing Session? A precise period of time during which the auditor listens to the pre-clear's ideas about himself.
What is Professional Auditing? Sessions given by a trained auditor who is governed by ethical codes and technical skill, who directs the pc's attention to areas which, when examined by the preclear, will cause a release of sufficient charge to cause tone arm action, thus reaching the eventual state of Clear.
What is a Release? One who knows he can continue to improve by auditing and that he will not now become worse in life.
What is a Clear? One who has straightened up this lifetime.
